1:18 I tried casting my baitcaster this hard just a few hours ago. Didn’t get a very bad backlash or anything but still the line violently stopped like 15 ft in the air and my whole hook and soft plastic snapped off and went sailing probably 60 yards out into the water 😅

Hello, My 15 year old step son will be visiting me soon and we are headed to Almanor for the first time the July 5th weekend. The lake is a little overwhelming with a ton of boat launches! Where would be the best place to launch kayaks and get into some smallies on this lake? Around Pratville? I would really like him to get into a nice smallmouth as they were my favourite growing up in Canada.
